HIPS Material Properties
HIPS is appropriate for products with functionality that demands durability. HIPS is a fleixible, impact resistent plastic with a low melting point. Due to it's low melting point intricate laser cut details are not advised.
Laser Cutting HIPS
Laser cutting HIPS produces a clean, polished edge. If necessary to minimise any heat marks and scratches, we can laser cut while the portective film is still on.

Laser Engraving
Due to it's low melting point intricate laser cut details are are achievable but the results are not as high-quality of engrave as acrylic for example..
